yesterday, we all got together for what is practically a religion in Indiana... Basketball.

... in our family, it's IU basketball.

after the game, we drove over to help celebrate aunt katie's 22nd birthday with the weinzapfels....

B gets a little excited around candles

... i can't even light up a scented candle in our house without being serenaded 

with a round of "happy birthday," completed by a few attempts at blowing it out.

so, unfortunately, aunt katie's candles were hijacked by our over-zealous girl...

i hope you all had a great weekend too.

if you need us, we'll be packing...

we have a little over a month before we are officially FL-bound!

packing, packing, and more packing... that is my life right now!
but i can't complain, because we are soooo excited for our move to tampa.
i am taking a little time off today to catch up in the blog world...
i miss all of my buddies, and instagram just isn't giving me all that i need! ;)

(for the past 4 hours, i was operating under the impression that today was WEDNESDAY... again.
that's how out of touch i am with the outside world! HA!)

a day off is much needed right now.

i also just wanted to share a quick video of my niece- little A- and B playing

ring around the rosie with grammy... (mostly so PawPaw can have easy access to it)

little A has also recently learned to refer to brynn as "B."
she is getting so big! we can't wait for her 1st birthday in a little over a month!

these two gals are so funny together... 
i can't wait for baby ellie to join in on all of the girly fun.
(and miles too, if he wants)

Baby Shower Blessings for Ellie Ruth

today, we celebrated the impending arrival of miss ellie ruth wilson...

who is due to arrive the first week of 2013 :)

there are certainly a lot of people who are counting the minutes until we get to meet

this sweet little bundle of joy.

of course, there was a major auntie FAIL when we arrived at the shower, 

and i realized that i forgot my camera at home...

so, i borrowed aunt amanda's DSLR to take a few photos of lacy and ellie's big day!

cousin ally was able to help us celebrate...

she is visiting from texas this week, 

and we know two little girls who were SO happy to see her :)

we were pretty happy to see her too.

we were all so excited to greet the new MRS. WILSON when she arrived at the shower...
we admired her sparkly new accents and
enjoyed hearing a few details from the very intimate and private ceremony. :)
we are certainly thrilled to have lacy as an "official" member of the family now,
and are soooo excited to welcome their sweet little bundle in the coming months!

it was hosted in NH this year, and it was so great to see all of our extended "auction" family. :)

IAA Convention 2012

Halloween | 2012

this was the first year we had an actual "trick or treater" on our hands...

B had a blast walking up to doors and waiting for them to open.

of course, the "treat" for Brynn was more about getting a home tour from everyone, 

rather than indulging in their candy selections.

daddy and i had to drum up some covert-ops when the door would open,
to make sure our kitty cat didn't turn into goldilocks and make herself at home in their kitchens...

she is such a little stinker!

here is a look back on the past two years...

we dressed her up as a ballerina.

oh, these girls are just growing up too fast... :)

we made our rounds with little A, aunt amanda and uncle andrew this year,

and the girls had a BLAST!

i'm a little biased, but they are certainly

the cutest elephant and kitty that i've ever seen... ;)

we were little A's very first stop...
you might be able to see- by that sweet and completely terrified look on her face- that she was slightly overwhelmed with the milestone ;)

      love... :)

 we only had a handful of stops to make, so we all packed into the car... 

it was a little too chilly for walking this year.

we visited great-grandma... and B barely acknowledged her bowl of candy.

she immediately ran to get grandma's toys.

          daddy love.

these two girls certainly hit the jackpot when it comes to daddies. :)

 after we finally stopped at grammy & pawpaw's,

B decided that she was now an expert in Halloween candy-ism,

and that she would be the one to pass out the candy.

pawpaw collected about 25 suckers... every 5 minutes.

i guess cats don't like suckers...

 have you ever seen a baby elephant crawl?

 well, i got to last night... cutest thing in the world.

Halloween | 2012

Brynn's Fairy Garden Party

on saturday, we finally celebrated brynn's 2nd birthday...

we held a FAIRY GARDEN PARTY at the park,

and i was so thrilled with how it all came together!

i just love this song...

brynn had so much fun, even though it was a little on the chilly side!
it was the perfect fall day...
and we served some warm mulled apple cider to make sure
everyone stayed toasty warm!

 this is what sliding down a slide in your tutu looks like ;)

and too "busy" to sit back and take her bottle without watching all of the fun! :)
we love "Anos" soooo much!
