He's finally here. Our little boy. The best surprise that we could have ever asked for... A true gift from God. If someone would have told me last year that I would be a mother of two right now, I would have looked at them like they were absolutely crazy... But sometimes God's plan for you is so much better than the plans that you have for yourself, and I feel so overwhelmingly blessed that this is His plan for me.
To be a mommy to these two sweet babes.
Lucas Wilson Weinzapfel was born at 12:28pm on Friday, November 1st, 2013. Following in big sister's lead, he was born on Friday, the 1st of the month.... And also woke me up with contractions at about 1:45am the day he was born. Honestly, the timeline and events of his labor and delivery could not have been any more similar to his sister.
I labored a little longer with him before I got my epidural, which only happened because they had planned to go ahead and break my water. They broke it at about 10:00am, and he was born at 12:28pm, after about 20 minutes of pushing.
Right now, I'm just typing out the information that is still lingering at the top of my head... Hopefully, I can find some time to update it in the coming days and weeks.

Aunt Roz and "Grammy" Kris were our lifesavers over the weekend. They watched Brynn while we were recovering in the hospital, and they were a Godsend!! Thank you ladies so much for being so wonderful, and for sacrificing your weekend to help us... We love you so much, and honestly can't begin to repay your kindness! xoxo
THE Grammy flew in on Sunday and was our last visitor in the hospital.
