Just wanted to share a few of my favorite INSTAs from the past few weeks...

Yeah... He didn't make it. :( Poor little guy. Oz Dog is the ultimate lizard hunter.

I'm pretty sure he was born to live in Florida. ;) Our lanai is a barren lizard desert.

Andrea sure was fun for us, but not for many others...  We were very lucky.

How we start virtually every morning... These two are so funny to watch!

 Teaching Brynn to "trace"... Oz was unanimously selected as the subject.

Two lives officially converge | B experienced baby sib's kicks for the very first time on 6/13/13

I think she was equally excited and freaked out... She won't come near the belly again.

Nothing beats a good Publix run... Or a car cart with flames.

Celebrating Oz Dog's 9th birthday. Love him!

This little one is not like Big Sis... They are already in constant motion!

We are officially 20 weeks this coming Sunday, 

and we find out the gender bright & early Monday morning! :)

We are so excited to be making a gender reveal video to share with everyone in the coming weeks!

B, using her toddler creativity to "paint" the screens.

I love watching her come up with her own, mess-free play ideas! :)

friday favorites

| instaCHRISTMAS |

We've shifted into full-blown holiday mode around here lately...

This involves |but is not limited to| working on our gifts for family, playing loud Christmas music throughout the house, and rolling up our sleeves and exercising our craft muscles! ;)

Of course, I haven't had time to break out the DSLR, but I've done my best to keep up on IG.

Here is a little bit of what we've been up to lately...

coloring foam ornaments with daddy.   

this keeps her busy for a long while... which in toddler time, is about 15 minutes!    

I'm totally in love with our reindeer gift tags from Dear Lillie.

I would purchase the entire store if I could... 

making salt dough ornaments for our neighbors... 

 ... I was a little nervous that I would mess up the recipe, 

but they turned out so much better than I expected. | SEE RECIPE |

We used the massive amount of leftover salt dough we had, and decided to take advantage and do a handprint craft... because no holiday can go by without one of these ;)

it's not often that Oz gets festive... but he actually allowed B to put these around his neck!

of course, B thought it was hilarious... he definitely earned some big brother points ;)

we also received our very first Kiwi Crate today!

we thought we would give it a try, and I have to say that I'm very impressed...

just the amount of time gathering supplies and planning that it saved me is well worth the $20/month... B had an absolutely BLAST with the penguin bowling.

and there are still more projects for us to do!

I'm looking forward to squeezing in a few after the holidays. :)

this week, and especially today, cannot go by 

without acknowledging all of those who were lost at Sandy Hook...

I have held my baby and wept for all of those mommies who won't be able to hold their own anymore.

my thoughts and prayers are certainly with these families...

I carry their hearts with me, just as I do all of the other babies 

who have touched my heart on their way to Heaven.

here is a little glimpse into our life {via instagram} lately.

easiest DIY ever. old frame, a little spray paint, sheet metal, chalkboard paint. voila!

daylight savings + toddler = nap struggles.

toddler experimentation at its finest... ;)

i just love how she always finds a way to make me giggle.

sleepy faces are the best... i could stare at her for hours.

it seems all of my wishing for daddy's good looks wasn't completely in vain ;)

exciting stuff in the works!! :) can't wait to share...

here is what our life has looked like lately... via instagram

the heatwave is finally GONE... and the roses are back!

the term "sweet tooth" is an understatement... she undoubtedly gets this from my side ;)
{everything is a cookie or a "cakey"}

date night... we missed our girl, but love. every. minute!

she is going through a curious phase...
... and also a "put everything in my mouth" phase. yuck.

oh, the joys of spending your days with an acrobatic, determined toddler... 

... there's nothing this girl can't get into!
