Settling In... and Catching Up!

Well... We did it!

We are officially Floridians...

And while the move has been a little stressful,

especially since we were all stricken with the stomach flu the week before we moved... 

We managed to pull it off, and we are loving our new home!

To play a little catch-up, let's start back in Indiana...

I haven't pulled out my DSLR in a very long time,

so when it started snowing a week or so before the move... 

I decided to document one of Brynn's last Indiana snows.

PawPaw decided to take advantage of teaching Brynn to drive his truck before she left..

Needless to say, she loved it!

... and here we are! It has only been 5 days, but we are fairly settled in...
and mostly unpacked too.

Allen went back to work on Thursday, so Brynn, Ozzie and I have been enjoying the warmer weather, by spending the majority of our time outside... In the backyard! :)

B takes advantage of the long "runway," which has been an excellent morning activity...

 She's also been putting her sunglasses to good use... 

Though, sometimes she has trouble figuring out which way they fit ;)

 ... and she and Oz chase each other around in circles. They both think it's fabulous!

 Another thing they have in common... Their utilization of the doggy door on the lanai.

Mommy has found that she can't just leave the sliding glass door open for Oz when he goes outside....

Because a certain little 2 year-old girl will take full advantage of that, 

and will be in the backyard with him before I can snap my fingers! :)

 We are definitely enjoying our first week in the house, and as Floridians...

Although we do miss our families, we are excited for all of the adventures that each day gives to us!

We still have a bit of work to do in the house, but I will post photos as soon as I can...
This weekend, we are off to JAX to celebrate a beautiful 1 year-old baby girl!!
And also to catch up with all of our friends that we haven't seen in a YEAR.

I hope you all are doing well! 

I can't wait to get back into blogging regularly so that I can keep up with all of my friends again...
