Friday's Letters

Photobucket

DEAR HOUSE, I get that you are, like, 100 years old- and I fully respect that- but it concerns me that when I start the dishwasher in the back of the house, the front of the house starts to SHAKE... Yeah, NOT COOL.
DEAR TRIP TO FL, I know we only have one week left to wait, but I'm entirely too anxious to take my toddler on her first airplane... Among other things. Can we just get on with it already? Plus, I'm so ready to meet Miss Amelia and see some great friends... And the beach. :) PLEASE AND THANK YOU.
DEAR BRYNN, I know that your teeth "hoort."  You tell me every day, bless your sweet little heart. Mommy definitely sympathizes with you because of this fact... But I should remind you that Mommy is only allotted a certain amount of patience each week, and you are about to use it up with your little "trouble binges" you've been so great at lately. :( Oh, and running from Mommy is not fun for anyone except for you... And probably the people watching you run from Mommy.
DEAR HOUSE IN INDY, I know it's only been a year and a half since we moved away from you,  but I'm ready to part ways... If you could just put a SOLD sign in your yard, that would be fantastic. MAKE IT HAPPEN.
DEAR FRIDAY THE 13TH, I am already dealing with a teething toddler... Have a heart. :(
DEAR HEAT, Thank you for cooling down this week and putting an end to our CABIN FEVER!
DEAR RANDOM JUDGY MOM, I know that there are all sorts of "unusual" and trendy baby names out there... I'm sorry that I don't feel that my child's name is one of them. It's been around since the 70s. However, I loved that look of disapproval that you gave me when you asked me about it... Oh, and your daughter's name, "Preatoria," is lovely. I'm sure it's been around for awhile too... Like, since the 1700s. I'll assume that it's a family name... Just like I'll assume that no one will tease her about it through her childhood. ;) I do appreciate your concern for my daughter, though. That is all.
DEAR HUBBY, you are the best Daddy in the whole wide world to our little girl. I heart you.

happy friday!
xoxo
