Our Ozzie Dog

Our first baby is now 8 years old... As of yesterday.

happy 8th birthday, ozzie dog!

"Yes, I'm very handsome... Tell me something that I don't know."

As a special treat, he got to run out at the farm-- chase bunnies, dig for moles...
And he even took the liberty of jumping into the pond.

yea!

I didn't have the courtesy of witnessing his little pond rendezvous, but I imagine that it looked a little something like this swim a couple of years ago in Indy...

oh, to enjoy the little things like our ozzie dog... ;)

in my next life, i choose to be him... please and thank you!

Aw, sweet boy! It's amazing how dogs can seem to be your whole life until you have kids... I never wanted to believe it would change when I had a baby but it did. Still, there will always be such a sweet spot in my heart for my dogs. I love how they light up the life of our kids especially, it's amazing to see the next generation love them almost more than we do :)

What would we do without our JRT's? Molly is 9 so her and Ozzie aren't far in age. They definitely keep you entertained! Happy brithday Ozzie!
