Just wanted to share a few quick and simple Christmas projects that I've been working on lately :)
{vintage sheet music candle}
Simply print your favorite sheet music onto tissue paper, then use a hairdryer (or other heat utensil) to melt the tissue paper into the pillar candle.
{reindeer footprint art}
I'm sure most of you have seen the inspiration for this idea on Pinterest...
Here is B's version :) Footprint art with a 13 month-old really isn't a small accomplishment!!

I also found these great vintage Santa and Christmas-inspired cards online, and I was so excited to find a way to fit them into our holiday decor. Two of them even have Christmas greetings in German! So, I thought they would be a great addition to this German household.

I decided a few of them would make excellent ornaments for our tree... I just printed them onto white card stock (x2), then I cut them out and used Modge Podge and white glitter to dress them up a little (the Modge Podge was used to stick them together so that they were also reversible), and of course I tested them out on our tree! I was very happy with how they turned out!
{vintage Christmas card ornaments}
For the larger ones, I used some twine and mini-clothespins to hang them in our living room.

I hope you all are having just as much fun decorating for the Christmas season!! :)

Girl you have been busy!
I love vintage postcards and these are wonderful. The glitter adds just the right amount of sparkle and they look perfect on your tree.

The cards remind me of my moms tree, she has always loved decorating with special Christmas cards.

Hi, I'm visiting from Crafty Soiree's party. I would so love to make a candle like that, will have to Google how to print on tissue paper. Is there a link to get the German Christmas graphic? I get lots of graphics from The Graphics Fairy, have you tried them?
I'm your newest follower - stop by to see me anytime.

Such fun ideas! The reindeer are too, too cute, and I am loving that candle. I think things made with sheet music are so pretty! Thanks for sharing at Shine On Fridays! Hope you'll come back again this weekend to share some more of your great projects!
I love that candle, I've tried doing that before but haven't quite got the hang of the technique. Can you give any suggestions for where we can find sheet music to print out?
I totally made the sheet music candle today. It turned out great! I'm blogging about it tomorrow. I'd love for you to come check it out.
