Allen and I spent Saturday at our house, since we have an out-of-town wedding tomorrow... It's the first time we were able to see the fireworks display that is done at a park near our house. We just lit up a fire, grabbed some slices of watermelon, and sat on our patio to enjoy the view... It was fantastic!
We even helped the neighbor kiddos catch lightning bugs, and watched them play with sparklers (which terrified me, of course, but we all know how that goes-- I immediately think of the burn unit... How horrible am I?)!
