Maternity clothes? Not really. Just loose-fitting pants to help with the nausea.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep: The crazy dreams started before I even knew I was pregnant- which actually was my first clue! And they are pretty craaaaazzzy too. They frequently have me waking up going, "Is this real life?!" And the Snoogle has already been put to good use.
Best moment this week: Hearing Brynn go crazy in the sonogram room when the baby's silhouette popped up on the screen. "Yeah... D'er is! It's baby in Mommy's bewwy! Baby in Mommy's bewwy!"
It finally sunk in for her... And had us all giggling through the entire ultrasound.

Miss Anything? I miss that glass of wine or beer that Daddy and I used to have once Big Sis goes down for the night.
Most of the time, it was well-deserved...

Movement: Not yet. I didn't feel Brynn until around 17 or 18 weeks, I think.
Food cravings: Panera's Fuji Apple Salads, Toaster Strudels, bananas & strawberry fruit salad, and hot chicken & noodle soup in 85+ degree weather...
Anything making you queasy or sick: Almost everything! I can't cook anything myself... And most aversions are to cooking meats, except for chicken. This is interesting because chicken was a MAJOR aversion with Big Sis.
Prenatal vitamins are also a big one. That one is a daily struggle, obviously.

Gender: Unknown. We got a little sneak peak during the nuchal translucency screen, but it's still too early to tell for sure.
Daddy is rooting for a BOY this time... He got his wish last time, so we will see! ;)

Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Just your average early-pregnancy loveliness... Sore tatas, morning sickness, and exhaustion.
Although, I do feel like I'm a little more (okay, a LOT more) sick this time around. Oh, and I cry frequently.
Anything that might tug on the heartstrings, and you can bet that I'm about to burst into tears.

Belly Button in or out? In. Never popped with Big Sis, so hopefully it behaves again...
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Mood: Pretty good, considering the challenges of dealing with morning sickness and staying home with a 2 year-old.
Things can get pretty interesting around here... But I'm enjoying my time with my girl. :)

Looking forward to: Feeling those first kicks... and finding out whether Brynn will have a little sister or brother! :)
Pregnancy Comparison: Here I am at 13 WEEKS with Brynn. This was my very first post on this blog...

This Momma's First Trimester Horror Stories:
Listening to your 2 year-old, begging and crying, while sprawled out on the kitchen floor, for her beloved pancakes for breakfast, and knowing that you can't cook anything without making yourself sick... And then proceeding to run back and forth from the stove to the kitchen sink every 30 seconds until her pancakes were done, with spatula-in-hand. Yummy... Breakfast is served.
Finally sitting down to eat that Five Guys Bacon Cheeseburger you've been craving through days-upon-days of terrible morning sickness... Only for your potty-training 2 year-old to look over, point to your cheeseburger, and say, "Oh, wook Mommy! It's poopy!" Half-eaten cheeseburger, please exit stage left... Immediately.
