Celebrating Brynn's First Easter...

Easter will soon be upon us!
Spring is one of my favorite times, and Easter is a big reason for that...
This year, since Brynn will be celebrating her very first Easter, I am trying to find inventive ways to incorporate the real reason why we celebrate Easter for future years-- when she will have a better understanding of what is going on.

I know it may sound lame to some people, but Allen and I don't want Brynn to grow up believing that Easter is all about the Easter bunny and hunting eggs and eating candy-- Though we don't want her to miss out on all the fun either!
So, I decided to take a little peek HERE at DaySpring to find some neat ways to incorporate the true meaning of Easter for kids!

They have these "Resurrection Eggs," which is a really cool way to teach your children about why we celebrate Easter-- That Christ died for us and was resurrected.
And if the $12.99 price tag doesn't really sit well with your budget, you can always make your own Resurrection Eggs!! Such a neat idea!!

HERE is a cheaper way to make your own Resurrection Eggs
thanks to Lacy at the Catholic Icing.

As for everything else going on with the Weinzapfel family... I finally nailed down a supplemental position at a hospital in Evansville! So, time is a little tight around here lately, and probably will be for some time!!
However, Brynn and I found a little time to run around today and peek at some of the artists' work, as well as all of the kids at Heritage Week :)

I couldn't resist taking her out to enjoy one of the last nice days we'll have for awhile... Forecast for the next few days is RAIN. :)

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,
rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught,
and overflowing with thankfulness.
