|the wedding dress|

being a stay-at-home mom makes it pretty convenient to do things spontaneously with your child...
and some of the best times I've had with Brynn were not planned or thought out.
they just happened.

it happened to have rained this morning, for the umpteenth day in a row...
so, I decided to get started on a few things on my "mother/daughter" checklist.
thanks to Pinterest, one of the items on that list is letting Brynn play "dress up" in my wedding dress.

she's not really into playing dress up yet,
but she does enjoy playing with my jewelry, occasionally...
I actually had to bribe her with my pearls to get her to stay in one place for a few minutes!
worked like a charm!

B had a lot of fun dressing up,
and we enjoyed looking at photos of all of our family from the actual wedding day...
... it's just amazing to think that 5 years ago,
she was nothing more than a figment of our imagination...
and now, I get to sit with our little girl and show her the beauty of unconditional love.

in a few days, I will be a 30 year-old...
... and Brynn will turn two.
time flies. and none of us know what the future will hold.
I certainly don't want to take a single day for granted!

happy friday.

Love, Love, Love how you followed through with this WONDERFUL Pinterest idea. I still have to get my dress cleaned...oops! I especially love how they're in black and white with the pillows and your wedding picture in the background. Your photography skills are taking off! Are you available for a newborn shoot in NW IN any time soon? :) PS have you seen the picture where the little girl is wearing her Mom's wedding dress while holding her parents framed wedding picture?
